The objective of the promotional campaign “Consume Arroz USA” is to show to consumers at retail and wholesale centers where the activity is presented, the nutritional and economic benefits of including rice in their family’s daily diet.

Supermarket, market and wholesale store promotions for 2016 will be conducted in the Mexico City metro area which include a number of municipalities within the State of Mexico. This large geographic area is populated by almost 20 million people, thus making it the largest retail market in the whole country. Three teams work simultaneously, 8 hours a day, Tuesday to Sunday at different points of sale. Data is provided on a weekly basis from the rice mills which support to the campaign and the promotional teams which perform the mobile cooking demonstrations.

During the live cooking demonstrations and samples at the point of sale, promotional teams teach the educate the everyday consumer on the many benefits of consuming of rice, including how easy it is to incorporate it into their everyday meals using local ingredients and food through quick, practical and innovative recipes.
