Secretary Vilsack testifies before Senate Agriculture Committee

On Thursday, Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack testified before the Senate Agriculture Committee. During the hearing, Republican senators questioned Secretary Vilsack about increases in spending for nutrition programs due to changes at the Department. Republicans have voiced concern over how these changes will impact programs that support production agriculture.
